Incidents
-
Marine casualty 10 January 2025
Broke down and lost propulsion in the Baltic Sea off Rügen, Germany, while carrying about 99,000 tonnes of crude oil from Ust-Luga, Russia. German tugs, including the Bremen Fighter, took the tanker under tow in a storm with waves of 3-4 metres.
-
Detention 13 January 2025
German customs issued a detention order citing possible violations of the EU embargo on Russian oil exports, and in February 2025 ordered the cargo seized. The charterer objected; Germany’s Finance Court suspended the confiscation order in May 2025, and the Federal Fiscal Court upheld that suspension on 11 December 2025 pending further proceedings.

Behaviour signals
This site publishes no vessel positions, tracks or last-known ports, because a hull on these lists has a crew aboard. Any behaviour signals added in future will be aggregate and historical, with their method stated. See methodology.
